Julia Restoin-Roitfeld looks sophisticated and gorgeous at last night's premiere of the film The Last Station at the Paris Theatre in New York City. I admire the way she keeps everything simple to let the studs shine, her style is impeccable. The skirt is a bit longer than Julia's typical choice but I like it on her, particularly paired with the chic shoes. Her leather coat is exquisite, I don't recall seeing it previously.
Directed by Michael Hoffman, The Last Station focuses on Leo Tolstoy (played by Christopher Plummer), his wife Sofya (Helen Mirren), and their last days on his estate in Russia. Hoffman also wrote the screenplay based on the novel by Jay Parini and it sounds much more passionate than the average literary biopic. I would love to know Julia's thoughts on the film.
