Today I Want To Be A Roitfeld celebrates one year chronicling the editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, Carine Roitfeld, and her two children, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld. When fortune smiles, we also check in with their best loveds: Christian Restoin (father of Jewels and Vladi), Robert Konjic, and Giovanna Battaglia. It has certainly been an amazing year and I would like to wholeheartedly thank you for reading along. I especially adore each of you for every single comment that you leave, you keep me motivated to continue investing myself to discover the best of the Roitfeld family for all of us.

The media mentions or links to the blog are also powerful incentives. Though they were numerous, I have compiled a list of my favorites of the year:

Sundance Channel, "French Vogue: Celebrating Ninety Years," 7 October 2009
Italian Elle, "Robert Konjic," 13 October 2009
V Magazine, "Blasberg's Best of 2009: Part One," 21 December 2009
Huffington Post, "Celebrity as Avatar," 19 January 2010
New York Magazine, "Les Enfants Are All Right," 14 February 2010
Vogue Brazil, "Quero ser um Roitfeld," 1 March 2010
Vogue Germany, "Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld: Jungstar der Kunstszene," 1 March 2010
The Guardian, "The Measure," 13 March 2010
Gala.de, "Mode Jetset: Die Macht der Coolness," 30 March 2010
ZEIT Online, "Vogue-Chefin Carine Roitfeld: Madame Rock'n'Roll," 3 April 2010
Das Magazin, "Die Patin," 10 April 2010

Finally a very special thank you to my delightful beau, Michael, who constantly encourages this endeavor, buoys my spirits, and comments when no one else dares. Je t'aime, mtm.

Now I would like to hear from you, what are your favorite Roitfeld moments over the last year? Which fashion choices stand out? When you think back, which Vogue Paris editorials come to mind? Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments, today is Roitfeld Day and anything goes! Thanks a million for reading my blog—you are the best.
