Women of Fashion

Now that it's available, I thought you might be interested in the entire list of the women honored at the "25 Women of Fashion" event as well as the nine panelists responsible for the selection. The above photo of Julia Restoin-Roitfeld is from the men.style.com site; check it out as there are lots more great party pictures to see. Be sure to click on the tabs to the right of each head shot to see more photos. If you tab among the three photos of Julia, it looks as if she's dancing. The Cut offers a nice list of ten honorable mentions, other stylish women about town that somehow missed, errr, the cut.

The Roitfelds Rock the Nudes

Even though one of the pair pictured is in Venice and the other is in New York, their fashion vibe still holds strong. Julia Restoin-Roitfeld looks stunning at the Women of Fashion event hosted by Style.com last night in Manhattan. If anyone can identify the necklace that would delight any hummingbird, please let me know via the comments.

Carine, it is such a relief to see you in shoes other than the Alaïa laceups! Though they are among my favorites as well, I was a bit worried—with Cannes and Venice Biennale being two huge events, all she is wearing is the one pair of shoes?! And remember what I said previously about her extending a visual theme throughout her outfit? Look how the blouse has a crossover effect that is mirrored perfectly in the straps of the shoes.
