Somesing A Leedle Osé

Just wanted to share with you one of my favorite impersonations. Did you see the April issue of Vogue Paris?! Did you note Carine's biting wit in the editorial "No Smoking" featuring none other than her son's girlfriend, Lily Donaldson, as a bad pregnant woman/mommy?!
Jezebel nailed it in writing:
"You just know Patrick Demarchelier was snapping away when Carine said, in her smoky French Barbara Walters diction, 'Leelee? Now we do somesing a leedle osé. Shoot up widt zee bottul. Pretend shoot up. Peuhfect. Yes.'."
Girl with a Satchel offers an equally intriguing commentary on the April Vogue Paris.

Could you imagine something like this appearing in U.S. Vogue? We'd have Fox News and Bill O'Reilly in an uproar!
You are so right, Mike. This twist on family values would be most unwelcome in a conservative publication such as US Vogue.
Vive Vogue Paris !
I love this whole shoot. Oh Carine, you jester...
This remains one of my favourite editorials because it shocks even the most liberal of us and gets us talking. It is a slap in the face to those conservative psychos who think that mini skirts should only be worn on the tennis court and that motherhood equals the end of femininity.
I think it answered the question about whether pregnancy and motherhood stops women being sexy and beautiful. Just because you have to think about what type of diapers to wear, doesn't mean that you have to stop thinking about the new Fendi pumps!
I am not a Lily Donaldson fan, but I think her innocent look and fair complexion work well with the ironic undertones of this editorial.
