Roitfeld And Battaglia At Paris Fashion Week

Not much time to write but here are a few quick photos to help with that craving for Fashion Week information. First we see Carine Roitfeld and Giovanna Battaglia pictured here together seated front row at Armani Privé. Next comes Carine striding through the crowds in the street, notice the incredible energy in this photograph. Finally we see Carine post-Dior talking with Olivier Lalanne and what looks to be a Voguette though I cannot confirm her identity.

Here Carine Roitfeld meets with France's industry minister Christian Estrosi between fashion shows to discuss their country's approach to discovering, publicizing, and supporting new French designers. France currently employs about 125,000 people in the fashion industry.

Tres chic as usual and the wavy hair is growing on me.
Kate, I agree and I think it is a combo of not being as shocked by it and the curls themselves being shaped better. I don't like when the ends are left straight, see Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and MOCA 30th Anniversary Party for examples of bad curls with straight ends. These are good curls.
; )
Despite them being good curls, I persist in thinking that Carine's hair suits her best in Roitfeld: Black, Brown, and Brava.
Agreed. A slight wave rather than a torrent of ringlets.
These are all well and good but where are the pictures of Julia?
I too prefer Carine with straight hair but I agree that the slightly wavy hair is good! What struck me most in these photos are Giovanna's boots - they are really weird and almost look like some thick woolen socks my grandma used to knit for me.
Good eye, Amina! What is up with Giovanna's boots? Have you seen them paired with that orange parka? There's eyecatching and then there's... whoa! I think these boots may have crossed that line. Do you know the designer?
Kellina, agree, they are a world of its own...I've no idea of the designer. My gut feeling is Louis Vuitton - they remind me of the LV "Spicy" sandals. But that's just a guess...anyone out there knowing who designed them?
Hi, Amina! LV is def a good guess, hopefully one of the many savvy readers out there will know for sure.
Everett, I have not seen any photos of Julia at Fashion Week yet but I will add them if I do.
It's really funny how you cropped the image, since on the other hand of mr. Estrosi is sitting Anna Wintour... But who cares about her, haha :)
Thank you for noticing, Huben. It is so cool that you are a stylist, I love your work! The New Bohemia is especially nice. I hope you will do me the honor of visiting frequently.
