Julia Restoin-Roitfeld's Closet, Part II

Julia Restoin-Roitfeld opened her closet in this video for Fashionair.com last August, sharing many of her favorites in her stellar collection of vintage and designer pieces. Her friend Natalie Joos expands on this with her recent photographs of "Julia's Treasures" as she calls them. Among the gems Julia models for us: her vintage cabaret dress from Ganesha in Ibiza, her Norma Kamali bathing suit from Resurrection in New York (seen above), her Yves Saint Laurent lingerie which she calls her "Shakira dress" from New York Vintage, a leopard ruffle dress from a Miu Miu consulting gig, and her Christmas gift from her generous brother Vladimir, a Chanel bag formerly owned by her style icon Catherine Deneuve. Have I mentioned lately, I Want To Be A Roitfeld...

Like her mother, Julia has a great sense of style! LOVE!
You said it, Tiago! Love her sense of style and joie de vivre. LOVE!
And she's so natural, too! Beautiful style.
You are so right, Kate, no pretense or affectation.
Amazing dress!
Tracy, incredibly I think it is actually a bathing suit. It is amazing and it perfectly flatters Julia's figure.
She truly has a woman's figure and that I find very interesting. Yes, she's slim but she appears to have no desire to be a skinny beep and flaunts her body with such happiness. I find that so unbelievably attractive. Confidence rocks in all of us, if only we could all flaunt it in such a manner...
You are so right, Milla. Julia embraces and celebrates her body which while not a size zero perhaps is simply gorgeous as is. Hooray for Julia and her inspiring confidence!

I love how clean and fresh her place is. Very minimalist, just like her wardrobe.
I know comme coco, how does she maintain it all? Just like mama, clean, clean, clean. It is wonderful in that I have been inspired to be more minimalist in my space. In fact, I have a reminder that says "Éditez, éditez, éditez." which of course can apply to one's wardrobe or surroundings as well as text.
; )
Dear kellina,
sorry that you have to use the google translate......sometimes very funny and not so near at the original text, but in this case it sounds very good:)
@julia: if you ever have the idea to give your magazines, books or some other stoff away, call me ;)
bisous,

Long time! Your blog/website keeps getting better, it's the best!!!
I found this article and comments - especially yours - totally inspiring.
I LOVE Julia, so fresh, real, alive... not to mention gorgeous!

Silvina
PS. I invite you to visit my blog!
She looks a bit like bracula and wolfman not as much as her mom does. Her mom was never a beauty. Obviously she has everything because she was born into a lot of money. Good for her but the only reason she's modeling and doesn't even look like one is because of her mom.
She's short with kinda thick legs. She looks like America's or France's next top model winner where they win but you never see them again.
