On 24 May, Carine Roitfeld was invited to celebrate the marriage of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in Florence, Italy. She was seen applauding the couple outside during their ceremony, standing alongside other guests such as Franca Sozzani, editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia, and Riccardo Tisci, the designer that custom made Kardashian's Givenchy Haute Couture gown.

According to US Weekly, Carine Roitfeld expressed her love for North, the daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, via Instagram just days after witnessing the couple's exchange of vows. Roitfeld captioned the photo with "Baby North and her new 'nanny.' Lovely little girl xxx”.

not an expert, but Kanye has some music talent, and can be a nifty dresser, KK has found some notoriety in him. What boggles my mind is Tischi's comment 'bout KK being the new Monroe, if that's what he said, I disagree, however, does he know that KK will meet the same fate?
Roitfeld has her finger on the pulse, even if it's tabloid trash, the beat goes on. Print matters, but one must stop the drudges to look up at the covers, and BUY !

I don't know, i've mxed feelings about the Roitfeld/Kardashian connection. When she put Paris Hilton on the cover of Vogue Paris, i thought it was genius, provocative and totally irreverent. But now, it seems desperate in a way. I'm kind of bored/annoyed by her connection with Riccardo which is not fresh anymore. Riccardo seems to be very in this celebrity thing and while i know the parisian fashion society, Carine was a bit less superficial to me. But now, she seems as superficial as those people.

I love her to death, she is my all time favorite fashion icon but i've kinda lost a bit of respect for her and now (with her work which seems uninspired) i'm a bit disappointed by her. Please Carine, keep it together!

I am not a big fan of Kanye nor Kim and for two completely different reasons but I will have to say this, at some point we must look at the fact that people do progress and change hopefully for the better and perhaps the Kanye/Kim that exist today is what Carine has gravitated to. Perhaps it simply comes down to fashion regardless of personality? Who's to say unless you are there to witness 100% what Carine has seen and feels....

She has done many wonderful things for fashion and accepting an invite to someone's wedding should not suddenly shape her to be somehow different or a sell out....
