The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) held its annual award ceremony honoring fashion's best. Winners included Michelle Obama, Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs and Kate and Laura Mulleavy among others. Julia Restoin-Roitfeld looked stunning in Balmain.

Julia Restoin-Roitfeld wore a strapless black sequined Balmain mini dress with opaque black tights, black platforms, and a black clutch to the First Line after-party at the High Line Park.

Kate and Laura Mulleavy for Rodarte—winners of the CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year Award—celebrated their success with a crowd of fashion stars and stylish party people. Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and Christian Cota look quite cozy. Since I am certain that's Julia's right shoulder in the left frame of the photo, I am including this shot of Thakoon Panichgul and Genevieve Jones cause it's just so hot.
