Carine Roitfeld: Pretty Pantless

Aidez-moi! Carine Roitfeld is out without pants again and she is making me like it. I dunno, it's something about the hair being barely restrained by the velvet choker this time (and no dastardly curls, phew!), but she looks really pretty. In a fierce, I-can-kick-the-merde-outta-you manner, bien sûr. Carine is pictured here attending the dinner party to celebrate the opening of Ralph Lauren's flagship store in Paris.

Carine Roitfeld is such a style icon! She looks so pretty here, I agree!
LOVE IT. ELVIRA.
Ha ha! I'm glad everyone approves of La Roitfeld pretty and pantless. Elvira—love it! Cool Carine toujours!
; )
Sorry but this outfit is tacky and she should save it for a costume party. usually I love everything she wears, always simple cut close to the body styles.
Aww, Cigalechanta, nice to see you! Sorry to hear the Lace Avenger is not to your liking. I can't say I understand it, but I do think she looks better than the past iterations. Her 55yo hair is gorgeous whatever she wears, I would LOVE to know which products she uses.
I remember reading a long-ago interview in which she said she doesn't wear miniskirts anymore even though her legs look good, because she's over 50. Funny to see that short skirts are not ok by her, but going pantsless is, haha. I can see where she's going with this, but maybe it would have looked better if she were wearing opaque tights with that outfit instead of sheer/none.
Love the hair (so glossy! and sexier than anything she's wearing!) and the cape, though. I love the dramatic touches in the outfit, even if this particular iteration of pantslessness isn't to my taste.
Dru, another fabulous point! How is pantless less revealing than a mini?! You are also so right on the hair, glossy, sexy, mrrrow!
In almost 29 years on this wee planet, I have yet to utter this word but it seems so fitting here: BADASS!!!!
LOL again, Milla. It is fitting indeed.
