Vogue Paris June/July 2010: Kate Moss

Carine Roitfeld chose favorite Kate Moss for the June/July issue of Vogue Paris and though we have only a partial view it is gorgeous. Look at those red lips! Photographed by Mario Sorrenti, I will of course upgrade the image as soon as possible to give you the full picture. [Editor's note: Done! And what a picture it is!] Veronica Webb is featured in "Une Fille Un Style" and among the editorials are "Collection privée" styled by La Roitfeld with Freja Beha Erichsen and Lara Stone (Walliams) shot by Terry Richardson; "Coup de foudre" with styling by Riccardo Tisci, photography by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, and assorted models including Ciara and Daphnee; "L'heure bleue" with Anastasia Barbieri styling, Isabeli Fontana modeling, Michael Jansson shooting; and two editorials styled by Emmanuelle Alt: "Et Dieu créa le soleil" (the cover ed) and "Girl Meets Boy" with David Sims photographing Raquel Zimmerman. I can feel the heat of the sun already...

I love you but I kind of hate you!! Now this is what I call exclusive!!
OH.MY.GOODNESS! Carine + Kate = models shaking in their boots!!
Note to self: stop being so excited by Kate that you press send twice!!
That cover is timeless!
Awwww, Milla! Just love me.
; )
You know how happy I was to make sure that this was the first thing you saw this morning!!!
Tee hee, please never contain your excitement, Milla. It is part of your enormous charm.
Quintessential summer, isn't it, Kate? I cannot wait to see all of it.
it's odd, there is the famous Chanel red lipstick but you never see the average French woman wearing any bright red except on magazine covers or the odd person like Pamploma.
Milla loves Kate (and Kellina)!
It's true; French women wear red lipstick all the time though it is usually far more discreet. Kate can, however, wear it anyhow she likes!!
cigalechanta, i would hardly call julia your "average" frenchwoman, but we see her wearing red lips constantly. also lou doillon springs to mind. again not average, but certainly representative.
and kellina loves milla (and kate!) (and red lips!). i am trying to picture discreet red lipstick and i've got nothing.
; )
i did just think of two more sets of standout red lips: iris apfel and catherine baba, not french but fabulous regardless.
if i keep thinking though, my true icons do nude lips: carine, deneuve, bardot, a. hepburn.
but wait... back to red with k. hepburn, she contradicted her menswear with her feminine red lips — brilliant!
AAAAAAAH I can't wait for tomorrow to receive the new Vogue! Tu m'as mis l'eau à la bouche!
Oh fortune smiles upon you, Madame M, to have this beauty in hand tomorrow! Let us know how you like it...
Oh Deneuve - more French perfection.
Red lipstick says "I'm fabulous, confident and chic and regardless of what you think, I know who I am". Milla loves!
Oh yes, Milla! Words of wisdom! In fact, I may lift just this phrase and make it my new mantra, "Regardless of what you think, I know who I am"
; D
I feel like it's time to visit the newsstand again, it would be a huge mistake not to buy this issue!
Right you are, Dexter! This issue looks to be a must. I cannot wait til my copy arrives...
No make-up, bikini and shorts and Giovanna still looks stunning. Guess who I'm hating right now...
Yeah be glad I didn't post the photo of her lunch, two baby carrots and a sliver of avocado.
