Happy 90th Birthday Vogue Paris!

Vogue Paris celebrates ninety years of consistently chic, audacious, and provocative publishing today — congratulations and many happy returns! Here you can see a random sampling of 200 Vogue Paris covers from the last nine decades and I have added a number of the covers to the photo gallery for you to browse, enjoy!

To celebrate the occasion, Vogue Paris releases the October issue on newsstands today as well as their new iPad application which features Carine Roitfeld's remarks on the photographs in the special collector's portfolio supplement. C'est fabuleux ! Joyeux anniversaire !

What a wonderful collection of images - you're fabulous K!!! I really like the contrast between the earlier covers showing just the models face to modern day see-it-all covers. Also, the font was initially white - do you know when they started to play with the colour? Really interesting to see the evolution of Vogue Paris.

Merci mille fois, ma chère ! Tu es très sympa ! It certainly is intriguing to watch this beauty evolve, great question regarding the change in font color and I regret to say that I do not know. Maybe another reader can answer this one for us...
