Roitfeld And Konjic: The Crush Remix

You may remember the short film in which Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and Robert Konjic debuted as actors, The Crush, a fashion piece directed by Indira Cesarine for XXXX Magazine. The director has condensed the eight minute film into a four minute version set to music by Moby and titled The Crush Remix. Cesarine says, "I actually prefer this version to the original one I cut for XXXX Magazine’s Voyeur Issue. Robert Konjic and I had worked together in London for Harrod’s several years ago, and after running into him and Julia several times out and about in London I thought they would make the perfect couple for this short. I wanted a real couple rather than casting models for this fashion film, as the emotion is more real — and the kisses certainly are more convincing! Julia has a brilliant look, such incredible eyes, and Robert has always been one of the stronger, more timeless male models; together they make quite an iconic couple. I think they both could have an interesting future in film if that is something that interests them." Among the labels seen on screen are Julia's dresses by Matthew Williamson, Abed Mahfouz, Tadashi Shoji, BESS; her jewelry by Flutter by Jill Golden, Zoe Chicco, and Jen Kao; and her shoes by Christian Louboutin and Yves Saint Laurent. Robert wears clothing by Buckler, Commonwealth Utilities, Top Shop, Simon Spurr, H&M; his shoes are by Jean Michel Cazabat; and his watch is by Rolex. Which do you prefer, the original or the remix?
