Margherita Missoni wed her beau Eugenio Amos this weekend in one of the most romantic ceremonies imaginable and of course Carine Roitfeld was among the many fashion notables that turned out to celebrate the event. Apparently Carine dressed like a gypsy for the occasion although I have yet to see a full length photo of her outfit. The bride chose two gowns by Giambattista Valli for her special day, made from silk and organza cloth from the house of Missoni. Other fashionable guests included Giovanna Battaglia, Beatrice Borromeo, Coco and Bianca Brandolini D'Adda, Charlotte Olympia Dellal, Suzy Menkes, Jennifer Missoni, Teresa Missoni, Eugenie Niarchos, Mark Ronson, Tatiana Santo Domingo, Francesco Scognamiglio, Franca Sozzani, Mario Testino, Stefano Tonchi, Giambattista Valli, and Dasha Zhukova.

Not sure, Bernie. Giambattista is a good friend of the Missoni family. Maybe her mother had too much to do in the way of wedding preparations? At least they used fabric from the house of Missoni for the dress.

Michael, the wedding took place in Brunello, Italy, with the reception at the home of her mother, Angela. Lovely indeed!
