Almost all the heads are cut in the photos... Weird ! How can you reproduce photos in such a way....?
Hi, Arthur:
I was surprised by your comment because I have a ferocious eye for detail and this phenomenon of heads being cut off in the photos had escaped my notice. I see this in a few of the video stills posted here, which is natural. As for the photos, I simply choose to post the best that I can find for each occasion. Since I do not take any of the photos myself, I have little control over composition beyond the ability to improve by cropping. If you have photos of the Roitfelds that you would like me to add, please do forward to me for consideration.
Sincerely,
Mademoiselle de Boer
Arthur, I was just looking around the site and realized maybe you meant the thumbnails in the photo galleries? If so, these are just the previews; if you click on any photo you can flip through the album at full size. Are those the "cut off heads" you meant?
Dear Kellina
Yes, I was talking about the "thumbnails in the photo galleries". It is so strange... ;-) French revolution ?
Best
A.
Hi, Arthur:
Ha! No French revolution involving the Roitfelds will take place on these pages!
Indeed, this feature is strange (and annoying). I can only control the size of the thumbnail image, not the area to which it crops. Sorry if it is a bit disconcerting initially but click on any image and I think you will find the heads in full glory.
Thank you for taking the time to visit and comment.
Best,
K
