Julia Restoin-Roitfeld In The Selby Book

Remember last spring when Julia Restoin-Roitfeld graciously opened up her home to photographer Todd Selby and gave all of us a lovely glimpse of her life? We got to see the beauty products that Julia prefers, the unique jewelry that she collects such as the gorgeous pieces by Tom Binns, Alexis Bittar, Pamela Love, and Czarina, her mindblowing shoe closet, including sexy stunners designed by Brian Atwood, her toys, even her well tended orchids. Now we can see all of this and more in hardcover format: The Selby Is in Your Place collects the cool portraits Todd Selby has amassed into one dynamic book due to publish the first of May. I cannot wait to own a copy. As an added bonus, some of the portraits have never been seen before! Now if only there were photographs of Vladimir's apartment to complete the collection...
p.s. If you visit The Selby regularly you may enjoy the Question & Answer section at the bottom of each profile complete with illustrations by the subjects. For some reason, Julia's Q&A was not posted originally but it is now and of course it is très adorable including a priceless sketch of Brigitte Bardot.

There is something about her pale skin, dark hair and white everything else which I love - she stands out without trying. I love that she always looks so sensual without the tacky look-at-me routine which seems so normal these days.
Great post - thank you :-)
I am so glad that you like the post and again I am in complete agreement with you, Milla! Julia manages to be totally sexy without looking tacky or tarty, no easy feat as we all know. She makes it look easy and fun to look so fabulous—amazing!
This is a beauty. Thanx!
