Hakaan Yildirim Wins ANDAM

Carine Roitfeld chaired the ANDAM Fashion Award committee this year which today announced Hakaan Yildirim as the winning designer. I guess La Roitfeld liked what she saw when she flew in during London Fashion Week just for Yildirim's collection. He will show in Paris now and must also open shop in France having won the ANDAM award. Upon learning that he had won, Yildirim said "This is so magical. We are honored.” The other designers chosen for the prestigious award were Mark Fast, Calla Haynes, Bouchra Jarrar, Francesco Scognamiglio, and Alexandre Vauthier.

Any pics of Carine at that event kellina? I saw pictures of her from the recent YSL show wearing white jeans and a blouse similar to what she had worn to the Balmain show in October...She looked fabulous even though it was strange to see her out of her trademark skirts. I wonder if she's going to start wearing pants more often...?
Not yet, Tanya, I would have included any of Carine. I saw the outfit you are referencing, I thought she looked good but I infinitely prefer her in skirts. The Dali pendant is the best part of that ensemble.
did nobody notice the epic spelling mistake? tildirim?
I noticed the spelling. How do you think this could happen?
Hope you're well Kellina.
A question: In the Vogue UK diary for Julia do you know where I can find the pic in the beige skirt and heels on the right? Is it taken especially for Vogue or is it from a previous shoot?
Correction: on the left.
I am well, Kaya, and hope the same for you. That photo is from a shoot that Vogue UK did last June, you can see it in the photo gallery.
Garance has a closeup of that bag.
Thank you, Cigalechanta, I had actually included a link to Garance's photo of the bag the text already. I guess it was hidden too well!
