Restoin-Roitfelds In Black And White

I just realized that not many photos appear on the site of the Restoin-Roitfeld siblings together so here's a cute one of them at the Purple party. It's cool how they both chose to wear black with white tshirts in these ways. I love how Julia tucks the huge white tee into the skirt to tone it down; the red nails are a hot touch. Vladimir sharply combines the black blazer and the white tee looking classic yet laidback.

Carine Roitfeld On "Sept à Huit"

Carine Roitfeld appeared on "Sept à Huit" in Paris this week with host Harry Roselmack. They include lots of wonderful outtakes from the runways, the front rows, and back stage at Paris Fashion Week, including Carine's early years as a stylist, c'est fantastique ! One sour note: you can clearly see Carine holding a cigarette in one of the scenes pictured here, whereas I had read in interviews that she did not smoke. Notice that two of the only objects cluttering Carine's minimalist Vogue Paris office are the books by Martin Margiela and Raphael Mazzucco. You can watch Carine Roitfeld on "Sept à Huit" here.

Restoin-Roitfeld And Konjic At Repossi Party

Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and Robert Konjic are clearly the most fashionable duo in Paris. The jacket that Julia chose to pair with this dress is a perfect accent. As are Robert's shoes, the slightly mod touches of his jacket, the cut of his pants, right on. They are pictured at a party at the Ritz celebrating the newest line of jewelry by Eugenie Niarchos and Gaia Repossi. Other guests included Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld, Andrea Casiraghi, Nate Lowman, Aaron Young, Anna Dello Russo, Karl Lagerfeld, and Margherita Missoni.

Julia Restoin-Roitfeld At Miu Miu

So many gorgeous images to see from Paris Fashion Week, so little time this week! Here's a beauty of Julia Restoin-Roitfeld in blue velvet attending the Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2010 show. She looks very pretty here and the dress—as someone commented recently—I GO CRAZY. I wore the black velvet Escada bolero today and if it rains tomorrow, I'll be wearing the black velvet boyfriend jacket. This by way of saying I'm already obsessed with the velvet and then make it blue and I think naturally of Isabella Rossellini and Dennis Hopper and you know that's just so hot. Love the toughness that the black leather jacket, belt, and shoes bring to keep it from being too sweet.
