Giovanna Battaglia In Costume

Giovanna Battaglia dressed as a drum majorette for Halloween this year along with her sister Sara (the designer of the distinctive handbag that Gio carries in a variety of colors). In the photograph above, Giovanna is the one beside Domenico Dolce; the other majorette in red is Giovanna's sister. The costumes are adorable and the jackets are certainly in keeping with the Balmania of the season... But where is Vladimir and what is his costume?

Here is a closeup shot of Giovanna Battaglia and her sister Sara dressed in their drum majorette costumes for Halloween. The way the did their makeup is so beautiful and really adds to the costumes. I admire the creativity.

Dolce, Gabbana, Battaglia, Roitfeld Vacation

On Sunday, Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld and Giovanna Battaglia were spotted in the Aeolian Islands off the coast of Italy, vacationing with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, popping on and off their yacht to shop and eat a bit. Of course you already know that Giovanna was formerly the house model and muse for D&G and currently serves as an editor for Vogue L'Uomo. It's nice to see that they remain close friends. I love Giovanna's denim cutoffs and the way she has entwined her necklaces, perfect attire for an island getaway. For more vacation photos of the entourage, visit Fashionologie.

I needed to gain a sense of closure with one last post from Cannes, I felt that the photos were so limited this year. But here's a beauty of Carine Roitfeld on the dance floor being worshipped by her admirers. So hot.

Carine Roitfeld Parties at Hôtel du Cap

How cute is this, Carine Roitfeld's actual place setting beside Stefano Gabbana's at the amfAR dinner held at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden Roc in Cap D’Antibes. This just may be the most beautiful hotel in the world...

Also sharing their table were Domenico Dolce and the evening's top prize, Robert Pattinson. Pattinson ended up auctioning off a couple of his kisses for this annual AIDS benefit that raises money for research and preventative programs. Bill Clinton was the guest "star" and Sharon Stone acted as both mistress of ceremonies and auctioneer for the event. Then roughly a thousand of the guests were invited to the after party Carine hosted on the Eden Roc terrace.
