Carine Roitfeld: Irreverent At Armani/Libri

As you may know, Carine Roitfeld stopped by Giorgio Armani's bookstore, Armani/Libri, in Milan on Monday to greet admirers and sign copies of her new book Irreverent. Carine is pictured here with Terry Jones, the editor-in-chief of i-D Magazine, chilling at the Armani Bar after the event. I think she looks beautiful, radiant and refreshed.

Carine Roitfeld At Armani/Libri

It seems Carine Roitfeld's book tour stops at only the most elite bookstores — first Colette in Paris, then Dover Street Market in London, followed by Bookmarc in New York — now she will appear at Armani/Libri in Milan. On 16 January, Carine will sign copies of her new biography, Irreverent, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Giorgio Armani's bookstore. Armani/Libri is located at via Mazoni 31, Milan. Giorgio Armani hosted a swinging cocktail party in honor of Fair Game aboard his brand new boat "Main" in Cannes earlier and Carine Roitfeld looks stunning in Balmain on deck. Others attending the swank soirée: Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and Robert Konjic, Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld and Giovanna Battaglia, Naomi Watts, Benicio Del Toro, Adrien Brody, Karolina Kurkova, Elizabeth Banks, Isabella Ragonese, Paul Haggis, Moran Atias, Eva Riccobono, Graydon Carter, Virginie Mouzat, Natalie Imbruglia, Luke Evans, and Eugenia Silva.

Great news! A bit more digging unearthed photos of Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld, and Giovanna Battaglia on board Armani's boat as well. The work of art adorning Julia was created by Emilio de la Morena.

"Richard Hambleton—New York" Opening

Last night was the opening for Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld's latest show, "Richard Hambleton—New York" which is a huge success—Hambleton's Pop Expressionist works sold out within a few hours, earning more than a million dollars. Looks like Vladi is blessed with that golden Roitfeld touch! Though we must certainly credit partners Andy Valmorbida and Giorgio Armani for their influence.

Hambleton himeslf made an unusual appearance as the guest of honor; others attending the opening included the family, Christian Restoin, Carine Roitfeld, and Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Giovanna Battaglia, Josh Hartnett, Alicia Keys, Bar Refaeli, Hilary Rhoda, Mary J. Blige, Ali Wise, Ally Hilfiger, Devon Aoki, Fabiola Beracasa, Hope Atherton, and Stavros Niarchos. Since both Magnus Berger and Lily Donaldson were there, I guess it's safe to say that the Restoin-Roitfelds like to stay friendly with their exes. That's such a nice quality. The party moved on to favorite spot Indochine and everyone danced late into the night. For Carine this meant on a table with Tom Pecheux and Joseph Altuzarra, ooo la la ! When fans hoisted Vladimir onto their shoulders, Carine kidded, “He gets that from me." See the photos of the afterparty.
